Teaching method
Ballet for Children & Teenagers

The classical ballet has proved to be a perfect body training for children. Postural errors are eliminated, self-confidence strengthened, however whether the ballet training should only remain a hobby or the child will later aspire to vocational training.

The children at the age of 4-6 are prepared for the basic elements of classical ballet in the classroom, in order to discover the possibilities of movement in a playful form and to find the first dance expression in music.

At the age of 7-16, the students then learn the basic elements of classical ballet, which is made more difficult by varying designs, speed and follow-up elements at higher levels. This makes the strengthening of the musculature, the condition, as well as the general mobility specifically built from the beginning.

The personally perceived expression is trained in the open part of the hour.

The consciousness of the body in space is developed, the different dynamics of the movements experience, the varied moods of the music experienced and the own feelings danced or mimic expressed.

If you are interested, you can take part in the subsequent top training. In this class you will learn the basis of classical dance with careful construction.

About Me

I’ve been dancing since I was a kid. The way to the Ballet School led me to the Theatre.

I was born and raised in Switzerland. I completed my Ballet training in Zurich with Heinz Spoerli and in Basel with Charlotte Rueff.

I attended the technical School for stage dance and also graduated in Classical Ballet, Jazz Ballet and Pedagogical training.

In Italy I had a successful, professional career in Italian television.

Back in Switzerland, I spent many years at the Theater in Basel and taught as a Ballet teacher at a ballet school.

In 1990 I came to Germany and brought my experience as a ballet teacher to teach at various ballet schools.

In 2010 I opened my own Ballet School in Herbrechtingen-Bolheim.

For me, Dance and Theatre stand – for freedom – Dynamics and energy are as important as the air to breathe.

For me, creativity is the engine to conceive and create new things that did not exist before in this form of expression.

It gives me a good feeling to do with love what I do and I see it as a privilege to pass on my experiences, knowledge and demands with joy to motivated students.

With regular performances at events, my students demonstrate their skills.
